Principal’s Message

Welcome to Art Freiler Elementary! Home of the STARS!

My name is Maureen Riley, and I am honored to be entering my third year as Principal of Art Freiler School. I have a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to supporting students at all levels. I previously served in Tracy Unified School District as a classroom teacher for 8 years and as an Assistant Principal for 4 years. It continues to be a privilege to serve the Freiler community, and I am grateful to work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and incredible students.

At Art Freiler Elementary, our mission remains both simple and meaningful: to educate and inspire students to build successful futures. Each day, we strive to create a learning environment where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we move into the new school year, we are focused on key priorities that will strengthen outcomes for all students. These include enhancing targeted intervention to meet students’ individual needs, providing intentional support for our English Learners, and nurturing students’ social and emotional development. Through these efforts, we aim to ensure every student has the tools and support they need to thrive.

Our vision, “Chasing Dreams and Building Futures,” continues to guide our work. Just as stars light up the night sky, we are committed to illuminating the path for every student and helping them reach their fullest potential. By fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and a love of learning, we create a space where students are empowered to dream big and achieve their goals.

We are proud to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture where every child feels valued and connected. Together, we are building a strong foundation for success and ensuring that all students are equipped to shine brightly.
